CAT & MAT®

Cat and Miguel started working together in 2015. Cat has seen incredible success using Greg Roskopf’s Muscle Activation Techniques®. Since Cat’s sport is highly competitive and dependent on optimal muscle function and movement, MAT® is able to provide answers for the stubborn muscles that aren’t performing or previously been prone to injury. When fighters, like Zingano, train day in and day out by heavy lifting and intense endurance training, this can take a toll on the muscle system and the communication between the brain and the specific muscles being worked. In order to have the power and quickness, fighters need full body muscle contractile efficiency. Where muscles can’t contract efficiently, they aren’t able to shorten efficiently; therefore muscles are not isolated during a workout, which can lead to inconsistencies and limitations in the body, that could potentially lead to injury. Watch the video below to learn more about how Muscle Activation Techniques® has helped aid in Cat’s training and recovery regimen!
