COURSE DETAILS

This 10-month program has seven 3-day, and one 4-day intensive weekends. The MAT Specialist Program is comprised of four units; Lower Body, Upper Body, Trunk & Spine, and Cervical Spine and Accessory Muscles. This course provides students with the education they need to become an MAT Certified Specialist.

Class 1: October 10-12, 2014

Class 2: November 14-16, 2014

Class 3: January 9-11, 2015

Class 4: February 20-22, 2015

Class 5: March 27-29, 2015

Class 6: April 30 – May 3, 2015 (this is a 4 day class)

Class 7: June 12-14, 2015

Class 8: July 24-26, 2015

OBJECTIVES

  • To educate all segments of the health industry on the benefits of Muscle Activation Techniques.
  • To offer new opportunities for advancement of careers within the health industry.
  • To train specialists across the country in order to make Muscle Activation Techniquesavailable to anyone that experiences pain or injury.
  • To expand the MAT program both nationally and internationally.
  • To provide trainers and physical therapists with a way to immediately increase their income potential while separating themselves from their respective fields.

Interested MAT candidates should, but are not required to, have:

  • Have a degree in health or exercise related fields;
  • Have a thorough understanding of anatomy;
  • Have a passion for their work and the well-being of others.

TYPICAL SCHEDULE

Instruction and practical application over seven 3-day weekends, and one 4-day weekend.

Friday: 8:30 – 5:30
Saturday: 8:30 – 5:30
Sunday: 8:30 – 4:00

**The 4-day weekend is typically weekend 6 and the Thursday course runs from 8:30-5:30pm.
