MAT™Rx Full Body Specialist and MAT™ Jumpstart Instructor
Dave holds the titles of MAT™ Master Specialist, MAT™Rx Hand and Foot Specialist, and Mastery Level Resistance Specialist. He founded Kinetic Symmetry, Inc. in 2006 and over the past 20 years Dave has been professionally helping people improve their quality of life and overall health and wellness. He is one of the top MAT™ Specialists in the world participating in the MAT™Rx program under the tutelage of MAT™ Founder Greg Roskopf and has assisted in MAT™Rx and Master Level classes at MAT™ headquarters in Denver since 2012.
Dave was introduced to MAT™ in 2003 like many of his clients; dealing with several physical problems for years that no other treatment methods seemed to be able to address (e.g., chronic neck pain, chronic back pain, hip bursitis, plantar fasciitis, shoulder dislocations, patella-femoral issues, IT band problems …just to name a few). He also survived a series of surgeries to remove a rather large brain tumor in 2002 that just added to the list of problems. After spending years trying to rehabilitate and figure out why these injuries were recurring all over his body he reluctantly had to quit exercising all together. In 2003, he was referred to a newer method called “Muscle Activation Techniques™” while having a conversation with a coworker. Dave had nothing to lose so that spring he attended a continuing education workshop in Chicago with Greg Roskopf. He learned more in that 4-hour-workshop than he had in the previous four years searching for answers. From that point forward he has immersed himself in MAT and the study of body mechanics at an unparalleled level. He ended up becoming his own guinea pig to not only learn his craft but to experience the outcome personally. Currently he is pain free, enjoys an active lifestyle, and is able to play with his wife and kids with little to no worries of pain or injury.
Dave holds a degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis on Exercise Science from Indiana University Bloomington. Throughout his career he has been a guest speaker several times for the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and many well known Universities.
