Megan Leyba

MATRx® Full Body Specialist, Instructor of Masters and Specialist Programs

Megan grew up as a competitive softball player. After dislocating her knee-cap at 15, her search for help started. After months with ineffective therapies, she discovered Muscle Activation Techniques®. For the first time since her injury, she was pain free, had no swelling, and was back to full competitive play. From then on, she knew that MAT® was going to be her career. Megan graduated from St. Mary’s University with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. Watching teammates through college get hurt and have to stop playing softball helped reinforce that she was doing the right thing by learning MAT® and being able to help not only athletes but everyone! Megan graduated the MAT® Specialist Program in 2008 and became a Master Level Specialist in 2012. She went on to get her MS in Health Fitness Management from Globe University in 2012 as well. She is one of the few MAT® practitioners who is also MATRx® certified. She currently works with everyone from athletes, to people with brain injuries, to people who are just trying to do what they love more efficiently and with less pain. She currently lives in Littleton with her husband, two children, and her German Shepard.
