Josh’s own injuries plagued his high school and collegiate athletic careers which led him to seek out specialists from chiropractic, massages and physical therapy. But, the results he received after working with an MAT Specialist in 2004 were above and beyond anything he had experienced. His passion as an MAT Specialist comes from the knowledge he has received from the certification and the results he has been able to achieve using it.

Shannon and her husband are the founders and owners of Fitness Focus. Shannon received her physical therapy degree from University of North Dakota, has extensive MAT expertise, and was the first provider of MAT in Minnesota. Due to her MAT experience and knowledge, she is one of only five international instructors that teaches aspiring students from around the world.

After receiving his degree in Kinesiology and dozens of certifications, Eric have been an exercise and muscular specialist for more than twenty years. Over those two decades, he has worked with clients ranging from collegiate and professional athletes to general fitness clients, cardiac rehabilitation patients, post physical therapy patients and beyond. Eric was the first Muscle Activation Techniques (MAT) master certified specialist in the Texas.
