What Is Muscle Activation Techniques
The MAT modality allows practitioners to assess an individual client’s neuromuscular function by preforming a series of mobility tests to identify which specific muscles are not contracting efficiently.
Practitioners work to re-establish and strengthen the connections between the nervous system and the muscular system through specific force application to the origin and insertion points of the affected muscle.
