LEVEL 01
Specialist
Learn the foundations of the Muscle Activation Techniques that revolves around a process of Neuromuscular Therapy that restores muscle imbalances and improve performance and overall well-being.
Specialist level, in particular, is your first opportunity to certify in Muscle Activation Techniques. You can certify at a single level (such as Lower Body, Upper Body or Trunk & Spine) or complete the full body certification by completing all of the single levels and attending the Full Body Certification event.
At the Specialist level you will learn to assess and treat 276 muscles on each side of the body. You learn how to assess and how to use those assessments to find a plan of action and work with clients of all ages and ability levels. The specialist level will allow you to expand your client base and improve your income potential (dont know about this but felt like a good thing to put in)
This Certification is comprised of the Hip, Knee and Foot Techniques Courses. Upon completion of the courses, you will be eligible to sit for Lower Body Certification and Certify as a Lower Body Specialist.
This Certification is comprised of the Shoulder, Elbow, and Wrist Techniques Courses. Upon completion of the courses, you will be eligible to sit for Upper Body Certification and Certify as a Upper Body Specialist.
This Certification is comprised of the Trunk, Spine, and Cervical Techniques Courses. Upon completion of the courses, you will be eligible to sit for Trunk & Spine Certification and Certify as a Trunk & Spine Specialist.
Our Full Body Certification encompasses everything from the segments within the Lower Body, Upper Body, and Trunk and Spine certifications. Accomplishing this achievement makes one a Certified MAT Practitioner.

Mastery
Mastery level takes a deeper look at the human body with more lecture content, more assessment tools (introducing passive components into the process), and a refinement of the muscles learned at the specialist level, while also adding in additional muscle divisions only exclusive to the mastery level.
Mastery level consists of 6 courses. A participant may certify in a single course, multiple courses or full body mastery. Mastery certification is done in-person only and is held at the MAT HQ in Denver, Colorado.
You must begin at the Specialist level when starting the process of becoming an MAT Certified Practitioner.
Mastery Cervical

Mastery level takes a deeper look at the human body with more lecture content, more assessment tools (introducing passive components into the process), and a refinement of the muscles learned at the specialist level, while also adding in additional muscle divisions only exclusive to the mastery level.
Mastery level consists of 6 courses. A participant may certify in a single course, multiple courses or full body mastery. Mastery certification is done in-person only and is held at the MAT HQ in Denver, Colorado.

The Lower Body Mastery Certification gives you an advanced understanding between the relationship of specific muscle functions and joint stability within the lower body segments.
The Upper Body Mastery Certification gives you an advanced understanding between the relationship of specific muscle functions and joint stability within the upper body segments.
The Wrist & Hand Mastery Certification gives you an advanced understanding between the relationship of specific muscle functions and joint stability within the wrist & hand segments.
The Foot Function Mastery Certification gives you an advanced understanding between the relationship of specific muscle functions and joint stability within the foot segments.
The Trunk & Spine Mastery Certification gives you an advanced understanding between the relationship of specific muscle functions and joint stability within the trunk & spine segments.
