Our Founder

Greg Roskopf

Greg Roskopf is an author, founder, and developer of Muscle Activation Techniques, the modality that has been applied to professional athletes and taught to practitioners across the globe for over two decades.

My mission with Muscle Activation Techniques  is to redefine how people think about muscle health and exercise.  I offer an innovative, systematic approach to optimizing the body’s ability to heal, strengthen and perform efficiently.  The process I have developed has multiple levels of treatment with the highest level providing substantial changes in the body that impact disease state and the aging process.

Muscle Activation Techniques is a revolutionary approach to identifying and correcting muscular imbalances that cause pain, limited mobility, and poor performance. By addressing muscle weakness—the root cause of dysfunction—MAT restores the connection between the nervous system and muscles, improving strength, stability, & movement.

I created MAT because it is the missing link in fitness and health. Traditional methods often overlook muscle weakness as the source of dysfunction, so I developed MAT as a systematic, non-invasive way to assess and correct these imbalances. MAT helps everyone, from elite athletes to everyday individuals, restore their body’s ability to move and perform pain-free.

I’ve worked with numerous high-profile athletes and professionals to enhance their performance and address muscular imbalances. My expertise has been sought after by elite athletes in the NFL, NBA, MLB, and PGA.

Organizations:

My techniques are multiple levels of learning a systematic process, taught through professional development and certifying workshops as well as through college settings, such as Fresno State University.  Over the past 25 years, my systematic process has been taught to thousands of practitioners worldwide who are having a profound impact on client recovery and human performance.

You can find my press mentions in a variety of respected publications and media outlets, including The New York Times, ESPN, GQ Sports, Mens Health, NBC Sports, and Golf Digest and more.
