Gwen started her journey with Muscle Activation Techniques in 2008, shortly after graduating from Colorado State University with a Bachelors in Health and Exercise Science. In 2014, she became an MAT Master Specialist. In 2021, she completed the MATRx coursework. In 2024, she became MAT Athlete certified.

Gwen grew up as an athlete she competed in soccer, softball, basketball, and she played rugby in college. Her husband is a firefighter and a high school baseball coach, and they have 3 kids who each play multiple sports.

Her passion is helping people of any age increase stability and mobility. Whether it is an athlete that needs to get back onto the field or step up their game, someone who wants to improve their quality of life, or even a grandparent that wants to be able to play with their grandchildren, Gwen is committed to helping her clients reach their goals.
