Specialist CEC - Lower Body

The MAT Specialist Lower Body CEC gives you the ability to review the understanding between the relationship of specific muscle functions and joint stability within the lower body.

The MAT Lower Body CEC gives you the ability to review the understanding between the relationship of specific muscle functions and joint stability within the lower body. We will review you our revolutionary hands-on modality that was developed to create optimal motion in your clients by activating muscles that are not contracting efficiently and likely causing your client discomfort and muscle tightness.

You will review how to properly evaluate range of motion in movements within the lower body and how to use specific muscular assessments to identify areas of muscle weakness, biomechanical imbalances, and/or movement compensations that are ailing your clientele. Beyond mastering the ability to properly assess a client’s neuromuscular system at the granular level, we review our proprietary muscle testing procedure (AMC&S®) that confirms where a client is broken down and what muscles need to be addressed.

Within the MAT Lower Body CEC, there are muscle tests that pinpoint which specific muscles have poor contractile ability – i.e. a muscle’s ability to contract on demand. Alongside these tests are correlating DFAMATs® (muscular palpations on the bony landmarks and insertion points of each muscle in the body) that are used to address and correct a weakened muscle in order to restore stability and mobility through joint motion.
