How many of your clients have come through your practice having experienced a knee injury in their life? The MAT Knee Course gives you the ability to develop a deeper understanding between the relationship of specific muscle functions and joint stability surrounding the knee joint. We will teach you our revolutionary hands-on modality that was developed to create optimal motion in your clients by activating muscles that are not contracting efficiently and likely causing your clients discomfort, muscle tightness, and potential risk of injury particularly affecting the knee joint.
Within the MAT Knee course, there are 17 muscle tests that pinpoint which specific muscles have poor contractile ability – i.e. a muscle’s ability to contract on demand. Alongside these tests are correlating DFAMATs® (muscular palpations on the bony landmarks and insertion points of each muscle in the body) that are used to address and correct a weakened muscle in order to restore stability and mobility through joint motion.
