Course Details
The MAT Wrist Course gives you the ability to develop a deeper understanding between the relationship of specific muscle functions and joint stability through wrist movements. We will teach you our revolutionary hands-on modality that was developed to create optimal motion in your clients by activating muscles that are not contracting efficiently and likely causing your client discomfort and muscle tightness.
You will learn how to properly evaluate range of motion in movements within the wrist region and how to use specific muscular assessments to identify areas of muscle weakness, biomechanical imbalances, and/or movement compensations that are ailing your clientele. Beyond mastering the ability to properly assess a client’s neuromuscular system at the granular level, we teach you our proprietary muscle testing procedure (AMC&S®) that confirms where a client is broken down and what muscles need to be addressed.
Within the MAT Wrist course, there are 20 muscle tests that pin point which specific muscles have poor contractile ability through wrist motion – i.e. a muscle’s ability to contract on demand. Alongside these tests are correlating DFAMATs® (muscular palpations on the bony landmarks and insertion points of each muscle in the body) that are used to address and correct a weakened muscle in order to restore stability and mobility through joint motion.
Our goal is for participants to learn our unique systematic format to help their individual clients function with maximum efficiency and give them a better quality of life!
