Completion Requirements
Shoulder
The Shoulder Course gives you the ability to develop a deeper understanding between the relationship of specific muscle functions and joint stability within the shoulders.
Elbow
The Elbow Course gives you the ability to develop a deeper understanding between the relationship of specific muscle functions and joint stability through elbow movements.
Wrist
The Wrist Course gives you the ability to develop a deeper understanding between the relationship of specific muscle functions and joint stability through wrist movements.
General Overview
- The Upper Body Specialist Certification reviews the MAT approach to the assessment and correction of muscular imbalances in the human body with an active assessment process.
- Participants gain an advanced level of understanding of the unique systematic format provided through Muscle Activation Techniques used to enhance the neural integrity of muscles allowing the muscular system to operate at maximum efficiency.

Content Overview
Understanding MAT Impact
Within the Upper Body Certification, participants experience and develop an understanding of how the impact of all the isolated parts of the Upper Body play into the overall stability of a client’s muscle system. There will be review of how a practitioner would put all of this information together into a client session.

There is approximately 10+ hours of pre-recorded video content that includes general lecture review, muscle test specifics, DFAMAT review, and more.
Optional Monthly 2 Hour Study Sessions
Join us for instructor led Q&A and review. 1 year access to the monthly study and prep sessions post certification.
Exam Options (Choose One)
Virtual Option
Monthly (last Friday of every month) virtual one hour group exam. Exam consists of practical review of the lower body MAT skillset (CAM, AMC&S Testing, DFAMAT and PIC).
In-Person Option
