Now that you have completed the three Upper Body Techniques courses: Shoulder, Elbow, and Wrist, we invite you to certify in the Upper Body.

Upper Body Certification Course

The objective of the MAT Upper Body Specialist Certification Course is to review the techniques taught in the Shoulder, Elbow, and Wrist courses and take the practical exam for MAT Upper Body Specialist certification.

  • The Upper Body Specialist Certification Course reviews the MAT approach to the assessment and correction of muscular imbalances in the human body with an active assessment process.
  • Participants review the Specialist level MAT tools for the upper body muscular system used to identify restrictions in joint instability relating to muscle tightness and weakness.
  • In-person date available (Sept 23-24th, 2023) for those who want to attend the in-person review and testing. Access to the monthly sessions for a year support post testing still available for anyone who attends in-person review and testing.
  • Participants gain an advanced level of understanding of the unique systematic format provided through Muscle Activation Techniques used to enhance the neural integrity of muscles allowing the muscular system to operate at maximum efficiency.
  • The Upper Body Certification Course is a virtual lab experience. Participants must have a partner for the day of the lab to showcase their skillset throughout the day and during the examination which is the last hour of the lab.
  • Testing – One free retest. If participant does not pass the first test. they must attend a study session before retesting.

There is approximately 10+ hours of pre-recorded video content that includes general lecture review, muscle test specifics, DFAMAT review, and more.
Monthly 2 Hour Study And Prep Sessions
1 year access to the monthly study and prep sessions post certification.
Monthly 1 Hour Virtual

Understanding MAT Impact
Within the Upper Body Certification Course, participants experience and develop an understanding of how the impact all of the isolated parts of the upper body (Shoulder, Elbow, and Wrist Techniques) play into the overall stability of a clients muscle system relating to the upper body segment. There will be review of how a practitioner would put all of this information together into a client session.
